Strategic Analytics & Reporting:
Develop and deliver detailed promo reports, providing actionable insights to optimize future markdown and discounting strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as promo-driven revenue, margin impact, traffic conversion, and basket size.
Generate real-time promo dashboards using BI tools, ensuring stakeholders have visibility into promo performance.
Provide data-backed recommendations for optimizing promo mix, frequency, and segmentation.
Identify opportunities for A/B testing within promotional strategies to refine discounting effectiveness.
Promotion Planning & Optimization:
Conduct in-depth promo effectiveness analyses, measuring revenue impact, margin implications, and sell-through performance.
Develop and maintain promotional guidelines, ensuring a balance between consumer value and business profitability.
Build scenario models to evaluate different promotional strategies, including discount depth, duration, and eligibility criteria.
Partner with merchandising, and planning teams to ensure promotions support overall company financial goals.
Competitive & Market Intelligence:
Track competitor promotional calendars, discounting strategies, and pricing architectures across categories.
Analyze historical and emerging promo trends to anticipate shifts in consumer response.
Evaluate macroeconomic and seasonal factors that influence promotional elasticity and consumer purchasing behavior.
Develop frameworks for forecasting promo lift based on past performance and external market dynamics.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Pricing, Promotion & Strategy
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in promotion analytics, pricing, or revenue management within retail or consumer goods.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in data modeling and scenario planning.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
This is a remote position.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $90,700- 120,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
