About the Enterprise Business Development Representative - HP 

MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Business Development Representative to join us on our HP AI Boost BDR team. As a Business Development Rep, your role will be to prospect, engage, and qualify new leads for target accounts, via phone and email, build strong relationships with Sales Reps, and record customer information in the CRM. 

Location:  US - Remote 

What will you do?  

  • Prospect new leads for target accounts  

  • Convert new leads into appointments while creating a great experience for customers  

  • Outreach to new prospects to initiate the sales process and build the excitement around the product and the brand  

  • Build interest and awareness of client’s value proposition, and assess mutual fit   

  • Document customer feedback to improve processes 

  • Learn and maintain a current, comprehensive knowledge of client’s products and services   

  • Manage contact info, schedules, calendaring, and communications through CRM while optimizing processes  

 

What will you need to succeed? 

  • Experience with inside/outside sales in high volume activity environment 

  • Confident presenter who is comfortable interacting with executive customers (C-level, VP, Technical Specialists), uncovering business drivers, and selling products and solutions 

  • Strong communications skills to quickly qualify leads  

  • An ability to convey technical concepts  

  • Fast learner, exceptionally well organized and entrepreneurial 

  • Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or other CRM), Outreach. io experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The hourly pay range for this position is between $21.63 and $24.04. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $5,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
