As a Consultant at Aspirant, you will serve as trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of business-related engagements. You will have the opportunity to be a hands-on leader, gathering and analyzing data, exploring innovative solutions, making actionable recommendations, and communicating with key stakeholders while ensuring that projects run seamlessly from start to finish. Your enthusiasm and creativity in finding solutions will help our clients achieve their vision. 

In this role you will help lead and advise client engagements. This role provides an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills, work across a variety of industries, and exercise your entrepreneurial spirit to deliver superior results for our clients. 

Responsibilities

• Participate directly in client engagements, providing expert insights and ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish.
• Lead and facilitate client workshops and project meetings while providing a unique point of view. 
• Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations. 
• Lead well developed workstreams and small projects with confidence, deliver structure where there is ambiguity, resolve stakeholder resistance and risks, ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of work, and implement high value outcomes. 
• Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects. 
• Work closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements. 
• Present findings both internally at Aspirant and externally to clients that include data acquisition and insights. 
• Build rapport and nurture relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and propose new business opportunities.
• Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends, technologies, and approaches). 

Education  

• Bachelor’s degree in variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness/ Design, or other relevant fields. 
• Master’s/MBA degree preferred. 

Required Experience     

• 2+ years of business consulting experience in a variety of industries. 
• Prior work experience from a variety of business projects such as business integration, organizational change, digital/brand marketing, new product launches, mergers & acquisitions, or system integrations.
• Prior work experience from a variety of business projects.
• Project delivery work experience supporting well-developed workstreams and small projects.
• Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, IT, HR, marketing, and sales.    
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Expertise in multiple project management tools.   
• Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations and synthesize a path forward.   
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.  
• Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required. 
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint. 
• Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly at both line and senior management levels. 
• Ability to travel based on client requirements.   

Preferred Experience  

• Flexibility and confidence to contribute to any of Aspirant’s other practice areas including Strategy & Transformation, Organizational Effectiveness, Technology Consulting, Digital Consulting, Marketing & Innovation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Recruitment Process Outsourcing, and Sales.
• Process improvement/Six Sigma/Lean Sigma experience.
