Milani is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager, preferably with pharmacy or beauty background to join our burgeoning business. This is an exciting time to come on board whilst we are rapidly expanding and building brand awareness outside of USA. Milani’s purpose is to offer accessible luxury, cruelty free and inclusive beauty formulated for every skin tone. We are proud to say that Milani is redefining ‘drugstore beauty’.

Position Mission:

To manage sales plans and the full oversight of our Australian business from executing of commercial projects on a day-to-day basis to developing processes to streamline the business meeting Company’s business objectives hitting annual targets and delivering effective retailer plans. Furthermore, building strong working relationships with Priceline. You will oversee all business aspects, requiring a positive attitude and effective time management.

Responsibilities:

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage all aspects of the Priceline account and be the key contact point with the buyers on behalf of the brand.
  • Organize regular buyer meetings and lead discussions on their requirements, follow up with orders, manage promotion calendar and ensure the operations are run smoothly.
  • Set and manage all sales targets and closely monitor the sales on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (sell in & sell out)
  • Reporting on sales performance and inventory analytics.
  • Manage all sales initiatives e.g., identify top doors, sales forecasts by store cluster, strategic acquisition, and retention to improve sales results.
  • Identify areas for improvement for effective operational execution and build stronger commercial relationships.

 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • In partnership with the International Commercial Director, lead the Australia AOP process with strategic building blocks for growth in the region.
  • Co-manage our local 3PL in collaboration with Milani’s corporate supply chain team to ensure flawless in-bound inventory and retailer supply network and logistics.
  • Priority focus on Priceline door and footprint expansion to become a leading (top 10) beauty player.
  • Manage third party infield service levels to ensure Milani fixture merchandising and store support is maintained
  • In partnership with International Marketing, ensure Milani’s assortment and look/feel is in line with global guidelines and is best-in-class in market both in-store and online.
  • Identify local market trends, competitive analysis, pricing analysis and share best practices internally within Milani International teams.
  • Along with International Marketing, ensure the account is well educated on the full product range and investing behind new launches.

 CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Work with supply chain and demand planning teams to ensure stock levels in trade and Australia warehouse are within targeted levels and minimize excess inventory.
  • Liaise with finance to manage accruals, dilution and build-out and management of annual budgets.
  • Establish a close working relationship with the International Marketing team and local PR agency to successfully execute new product launches, trade promotions, social media and PR activations.
  • Work with international merchandising team and local merchandising agency to ensure store fixtures are implemented and maintained on budget and in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Work cross-functionally with US sales counterparts monthly to understand and share best practices and drive consistency across markets.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as an Independent Contractor
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development.
  • Previous experience in the pharmacy, masstige, beauty, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience managing retail partnerships (experience with Priceline is a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in budgeting, P&L management, sales forecasting, inventory management, and business growth strategies.
  • Experience working with international markets and cross-functional teams.
  • Background in working with 3PL providers and supply chain logistics is advantageous is preferable.
  • Ability to work from home.
  • Flexibility to travel when required for customer HQ meetings, trade shows etc
