Job Title: Hiring Operations specialist
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1600 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

Were looking for a Hiring Operations Specialist to oversee and process incoming hiring requests, ensuring they meet clear hiring criteria and align with industry standards. In this role, you'll act as the first filter for all job requisitions, reviewing job details, budget alignment, role clarity, and feasibility. You'll provide expert guidance to hiring managers, pushing back when necessary and refining job descriptions to attract top-tier talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming hiring requests for completeness, accuracy, and feasibility.
  • Ensure job titles, requirements, budgets, and responsibilities align with market expectations.
  • Provide feedback or pushback to hiring managers when adjustments are needed.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to refine job descriptions and ensure role clarity.
  • Maintain best practices in job requisition processing and compliance with hiring standards.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure job postings are positioned effectively to attract top talent.
  • Stay updated on hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and industry best practices.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of job market trends, role scoping, and hiring best practices.
  • Ability to review and refine job descriptions with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to push back when necessary.
  • Experience working with hiring managers or clients to shape effective hiring requests.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job posting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and ensure hiring requests are processed efficiently.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in global or remote hiring.
  • Knowledge of salary benchmarking tools and talent market data.
  • Background in recruitment operations or process improvement.
