Key Responsibilities:

Architect and Enhance: Lead the design and evolution of our mobile application, ensuring scalable and robust architecture.

Collaborate Closely: Work cross-functionally with the product, design, and QA teams to define feature requirements and establish development best practices.

Mentor and Guide: Provide guidance to mid-level and junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Code Quality and Standards: Define and maintain development guidelines, processes, tools, and coding standards to improve overall code quality and maintainability.

Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application by identifying bottlenecks and debugging performance issues.

Strategic Initiatives: Propose and drive key initiatives to improve infrastructure, workflows, and deployment pipelines, fostering innovation in the development process.

Deployment Lifecycle: Own and streamline the release process for both Android and iOS, including submission to the Play Store and App Store.

Security Focus: Incorporate secure coding practices and maintain awareness of potential vulnerabilities throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

5+ Years in Software Development: At least 3 years focused on React Native, with a strong track record of building and shipping mobile apps.

Deployment Expertise: Hands-on experience with Android and iOS release processes, including certificates, provisioning profiles, and release management.

Advanced React Native Skills: Proficiency in working with React Hooks, Redux, and React Navigation. Experience integrating native modules is a plus.

API Integration: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and ability to design efficient data fetching and state management strategies.

CI/CD Familiarity: Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Testing Best Practices: Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (Detox), ensuring high-quality code and minimal regressions.

Performance & Monitoring: Experience analyzing and optimizing UI and infrastructure using performance monitoring tools and data-driven insights.

Security-Minded: Familiar with security considerations in mobile development, such as data encryption, secure storage, and handling user permissions.
