How you can help make a better world of work
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Real Time Analytics Platform Team. Our team sits within the Data Intelligence Camp, and is seeking to establish a platform capability that enables all product teams across Culture Amp to build high quality data-driven products.
As part of this team of amazing humans,
You will
- Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our real-time analytics platform, ensuring it is robust, reliable and cost effective.
- Design and build APIs that performantly deliver data across the Culture Amp platform while maintaining the privacy and security of our users’ data.
- Set and elevate standards for quality on the team.
- Identify opportunities to improve the experience of internal customers using our platform.
You have
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code such as CDK or Terraform (AWS preferred.)
- Excellent SQL skills, experienced in writing maintainable queries and fine-tuning for performance.
- Experience operating and maintaining data warehouse solutions such as Clickhouse and Redshift.
- Proven experience in modern data management practices and tools, across ETL/ELT, data quality, governance and monitoring.
You are
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, comfortable dealing with ambiguity when necessary. You take the initiative to ensure that you have everything you need to work effectively and ask for support when required.
- A driver of technical excellence in a team environment. You’re an expert in your domain and are able to develop the expertise and knowledge of those around you.
- Someone who loves collaboration - our teams are cross functional and you’ll be working with other engineers, team leads and product managers to deliver great outcomes together.
