Job description

 

We are thrilled to be looking for a dynamic and reliable Senior Account Manager to manage a global hospitality program at the world’s premier clay court tennis championship, Roland Garros, for one of our key clients. This could be the perfect role for you if you have exceptional project management skills, are a real team player and experience working as part of a global hospitality team. 

 

In addition the successful candidate will support with onsite hospitality operations at Wimbledon in early July. 

 

A love of sports and particularly tennis is not a prerequisite – a passionate event expert is our priority – but this could also be great opportunity for you to apply your personal interests and passions to your work.

 

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Lead all hospitality operations for our clients Roland-Garros Hospitality program. Including coordinating all operations for the program; liaison with hotels for guest accommodation, venues, local experiences and meals, ground transport requirements
  • Collaboration across the team and with the client’s stakeholders to develop the program and ensuring clients brand is integrated throughout the guest experience 
  • Research and management of suppliers including support contracting vendors, building strong relationships to ensure successful delivery  
  • Taking the lead on managing guest information updates and communicate to relevant team members and stakeholders on-site (Transportation, Hotel, F&B, Tickets, etc.)
  • Hosting guests on-site for the duration of the event
  • Preparation of status and meeting reports, operational briefings and reporting documentation
  • Track and reconcile budgets, providing post-event financial reporting
  • Team lead for the onsite operation and ability to direct the team

  • You communicate clearly. You can write well, you speak in an engaging way and can explain your thoughts and ideas succinctly

  • You are adaptable to working remotely, with people in different countries and continents. Note for this role, you will need to be comfortable to take initiative as other team members and the client are based in UK and the US
  • You enjoy solving problems and finding creative, incremental solutions to challenges
  • You can collaborate across disciplines, departments, and time zones
  • You are patient, level-headed and cool under pressure

 

 

 

YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO HAVE:

  • Bi-lingual proficiency (French and English)
  • Comfortable working with an alcohol brand 
  • Experience or knowledge of working with sponsorship properties (hospitality events or traditional event activations)
  • Previous work on hosting programs tennis and global brand would be advantageous but not a prerequisite
  • Solid agency experience working in a similar role
  • Major event experience would be a bonus
  • Willingness to help onsite at other events across Europe, including Wimbledon in UK, in early July 2025 
  • High level PowerPoint Skills, Excel and Outlook and a confidence to present internally and externally.
  • An ability to connect with people from various backgrounds, cultures and an ability to handle high end B2B clients and B2C guests equally.
