Shift: 7:00 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST (i.e. 5:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure SQL Developer to support our technology-driven environment by developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role requires expertise in database development, query optimization, and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in Microsoft SQL Server.
Design and implement efficient database structures for performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including query performance tuning and indexing strategies.
Assist in database migrations and cloud optimizations on Azure.
Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to address data-related tasks.
Conduct data analysis and reporting to generate insights for business and product teams.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in SQL development and Azure cloud technologies.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer in a technology-driven company.
Strong experience with Azure SQL Database and related services.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
Experience in query performance tuning, indexing strategies, and database optimization.
Familiarity with advanced SQL concepts, including common table expressions, window functions, pivoting, dynamic SQL, and handling JSON/XML data.
Familiarity with cloud-based databases and security best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large-scale datasets.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python) for automation is a plus.
Experience using Postman for API testing and troubleshooting is a plus.
Mandatory: Ability to work in the EST time zone.
