About The Role

The Sales Development Representative is a lead generating position that plays a vital role to the overall sales process.

Primary Responsibilities And Assignments

  • Daily outreach via phone calls &/or email sequence to list of prospective customers.
  • Review, contact, and qualify each prospect for handoff to the sales team.
  • Respond to website visitor inquiries as requested; documenting, updating, and following up using Hubspot CRM
  • Ability to convey value proposition & develop cold prospects into viable sales leads.
  • Set sales meeting with all qualified prospects on behalf of account executive.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge regarding products, while engaging in additional on-the-job training, as well as on-going training
  • Ability to educate and demonstrate value of assigned products and services.
  • Maintain established standard for completing calls per day goals.
  • Provide support to sales team members, working in collaboration to advance the new logo pipeline.
  • Assist sales and marketing staff with sales campaigns, as needed.
  • Must being willing to work outside of normal business hours across multiple time zones.

Required Skills And Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, marketing, or a related field
    • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirement.
  • 1+ years of sales, customer service, or marketing experience required.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of sales theories and techniques
  • Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with clients.
  • Resilience to standard Telemarketing challenges and the ability to overcome objections.
  • Experience using a CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) preferred.
