We are seeking an Account Director to act as a strategic partner to our government agency clients, helping them grow outdoor participation and revenue. As the primary relationship owner, this role is responsible for customer satisfaction, retention, account expansion, and identifying opportunities to introduce new products and services. Reporting to the Chief Relationship Officer, the Account Director ensures that agency partners achieve their mission and business goals through data-driven insights, proactive engagement, and collaborative problem-solving. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Brandt’s value proposition and solutions, with the ability to articulate offerings effectively and tailor solutions to meet diverse customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key account stakeholders, maintaining alignment with customer goals. Ensure account goals are communicated and well-understood across the organization so that supporting functions allocate and prioritize resources appropriately
  • Customer Health Monitoring: Partner with the Chief Customer Experience Officer to contribute to the Customer Health Index (CHI), regularly providing inputs that speak to the status and health of each account.
  • Whitespace Expansion: Drive account growth, identifying opportunities to drive additional transaction volume and revenue and then planning, forecasting, and booking strategically to maximize Brandt ROI.
  • Business Review Leadership: Maintain a robust Annual and Quarterly Business Review cadence, organizing and leading each to relay detailed account insights, achievements, challenges, and priorities. Possess detailed knowledge of contract parameters and maintain awareness of contract renewal timing.
  • Customer Advocacy & Escalation: Monitor active projects and ongoing support activities to ensure outcomes meet goals. Act as the escalation point for any issues across Brandt’s products or services.
  • Customer Enablement: Make sure customer contacts are appropriately trained on best methods to engage with Brandt for new proposals, support requests and escalations.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Comprehensive Understanding of Brandt's Value Proposition & Solutions: Ability to articulate Brandt’s offerings and benefits, tailoring solutions to meet specific customer needs and objectives.
  • Expertise in the Outdoor Licensing and Recreational Market: Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape within the outdoor licensing and recreational space.
  • Exceptional Communication & Presentation Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, both internally and externally. Skilled in organizing disparate information to write clear reports, create impactful presentations, and deliver engaging, persuasive presentations.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Demonstrates creativity and analytical thinking to address complex customer challenges, providing timely and effective solutions that align with business goals.
  • High Integrity & Accountability: Maintains the highest ethical standards and demonstrates a proactive approach in escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary, ensuring transparency and alignment with company values.

  • The selected candidate should have the skills, qualifications, and experience consistent with a Staff II or Senior I level within Brandt’s job architecture. The starting compensation range is $95,000–$125,000, with the final level and corresponding salary determined based on the candidate’s expertise, qualifications, and prior experience within the applicable pay band.
