We are currently hiring a National Account Manager Off Premise - AL, AR, LA, MS and Panhandle FL.The ideal candidate must live in Pensacola or New Orleans.
Increase availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned regional territory to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler and retailer partners. Primary focus is dedicated to Off Premise Regional and National Accounts while aligning with the Region Manager to execute the programs in their respective territory. In addition, assist in developing the entire Off Premise class of trade.
What You'll Brew:
Be proficient in BBC's systems and selling process with retailers, wholesalers, and team of indirect reports
Be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in National/Region/Local account groups while managing budgets to proper ROI
Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations
Maintain and strengthen buyer & wholesaler relationships through strategic selling and superior customer service
Develop & drive Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for defined account base
Effectively mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC mandates, sell vs. authorizations/approved packages, compliance issues, focus timeframes and other key selling opportunities
Work closely with category management team to develop insights, analysis, and tools to drive business within the off premise channel
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years consumer packaged goods sales experience
Previous distributor management experience
Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
Must have valid drivers license
Up to 50% travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Adult alcohol industry experience strongly preferred
Off Premise chain account management experience
Level: 6
In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $88,000 – $160,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
