Summary of Job Duties:
The Patient Relations Coordinator is responsible for investigating patient complaints and grievances, addressing staff and leadership’s concerns regarding patient complaints/grievances, forming appropriate resolutions after careful consideration of all investigative findings, and communicating this information timely to patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field
- Applicable experience accepted in lieu of education
- Plus 3 years’ experience in conflict resolution, compliance, regulatory, mediation, or other related experience with customer service/relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint); excellent professional written and verbal communication skills required
- Physical Requirements: Vision, Hearing, general mobility
Preferred Qualification:
- Master’s degree in healthcare, legal, or related field
