What’s the opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Corporate Development & M&A to lead key initiatives in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This role involves identifying and evaluating opportunities that align with our competitive and geographical strategy, developing and managing strategic partnerships, and conducting financial analyses to support global M&A decisions.
What will I be doing?
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and company mapping within key fintech sub-sectors and target markets.
Identify and evaluate global M&A and partnership opportunities, assessing strategic fit and long-term value.
Build and maintain relationships with potential partners and acquisition targets.
Prepare pre-screening materials, reports, and in-depth analyses for decision-making.
Develop sophisticated financial models for company valuations, including DCF, Comps, Multiples, and Accretion/Dilution models.
Negotiate deal terms and manage the M&A lifecycle from initial screening to closure.
Gain deep knowledge of the global fintech and payments landscape, staying informed on market trends and innovations.
What skills do I need?
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
Expertise in financial modeling and valuation, with advanced Excel skills.
Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.
Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in creating compelling presentations and visuals (PowerPoint or similar tools).
A proactive, self-motivated individual with a curious mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
Fluent in English.
