About the Role
Our team is growing and we’re hiring a Data Engineer to join our engineering team and enable our next phase of growth. Canary's engineering team is fully remote!
You will work with the Platform Engineering team on designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain data models using Snowflake and DBTImplement and manage ETL processes to ensure data integrity and consistencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutionsOptimize SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and scalabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineeringQualificationsProficiency in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, ETL, Data Modeling, and Data WarehousingA minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2-3 projects involving DBTGood working knowledge of GitHub and GitHub ActionsUnderstanding of cloud platforms such as AWSStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesA proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and improvementAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.We also work hard to ensure Canary is a fun and exciting place to work.
