Job Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead all marketing initiatives for the client, focusing on two primary audiences: short-term rental guests and property owners. This individual will develop and execute strategies to attract and retain guests while building and strengthening the clients reputation as the premier property management company for homeowners. They will oversee all aspects of marketing, from strategic planning and brand management to team leadership and execution, ensuring consistency and excellence in every touchpoint.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution
● Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve guest acquisition, retention, and owner engagement goals.
● Lead the strategic execution of brand promotions, campaigns, and continent-wide initiatives.
● Monitor and recommend updates for SEO strategies, ensuring alignment with evolving digital marketing trends and collaboration with MDS or agencies.
● Set and execute the annual digital marketing plan, including partnership and advertising strategies to maximize revenue generation.
● Plan and manage content creation, including photoshoots and other assets, ensuring all marketing materials are up-to-date and aligned with brand standards.
● Strengthen and build the brand by ensuring consistency in voice, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms and initiatives.
Guest-Focused Marketing
● Build a branding strategy for the new hotel product .
● Design and oversee marketing plans, including property email strategies, that align with group objectives and hotel budgets.
● Execute marketing initiatives and collateral production to achieve sales goals and maximize revenue opportunities.
● Partner with Revenue Management to create and execute promotional strategies, including OTA media investments.
● Develop targeted campaigns to support group lead generation and guest retention.
● Analyze and present marketing performance reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights to refine strategies as needed.
Owner-Focused Marketing
● Collaborate with the sales team to establish relationships with real estate agents for property owner referrals.
● Create and implement marketing strategies to position the client as the trusted and premier property management company for short-term rental owners.
● Develop marketing initiatives that highlight the clients ability to maximize revenue and protect homeowners' investments.
● Build and manage the clients brand as a trusted partner for property owners seeking professional and reliable management services.
Brand Building & Reputation Management
● Act as the clients brand guardian, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications reflect the brand’s voice, values, and visual identity.
● Build a compelling brand story that resonates with both short-term rental guests and property owners.
● Foster brand awareness and loyalty by ensuring a consistent and exceptional experience across all guest and owner touchpoints.
● Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation, including guest reviews and owner feedback, to strengthen trust and credibility.
Team Leadership
● Recruit, train, and onboard property marketing associates, fostering a high-performing team.
● Manage direct reports, addressing employee concerns and disciplinary actions as necessary.
● Conduct annual performance evaluations, recommend promotions, and support employee career development.
● Oversee team productivity and efficiency, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Additional Responsibilities
● Identify and explore new markets and potential clients for both guest bookings and property management services.
● Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to support marketing initiatives.
● Coordinate and execute social and corporate packages across all resort properties.
● Submit weekly marketing activity reports to the General Managers and CEO.
● Handle any additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.
