Job description

Key Responsibilities

HR Compliance:

  • Ensure company policies and procedures adhere to relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts and compliance certifications.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify alignment with internal and external compliance standards.

Leave Compliance

  • Manage and monitor employee leave applications and entitlements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide accurate leave reports and address employee queries regarding leave.
  • Identify trends and propose improvements for leave management.

Performance Review Process

  • Oversee the performance review cycle, including scheduling, communication, and data collation.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to align evaluations with company goals and employee development.
  • Analyse feedback to identify areas for process improvement.

Culture Projects

  • Support initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, including employee engagement, recognition programs, and diversity efforts.
  • Design and implement activities to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of culture projects.

HR Big Rocks Support

  • Assist in planning and executing strategic HR priorities aligned with company objectives.
  • Support high-impact projects such as talent development, organisational design, and succession planning.
  • Act as a liaison between HR leadership and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of employment policies, compliance practices, and HR standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR role, with a focus on compliance, performance management, or culture projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in project management or a related discipline is an advantage.
