The Sales Team at Feedonomics
The Feedonomics Sales Team is the conduit of every dollar of revenue and nearly every client. We are 100% remote around all U.S. time zones, and 3 countries and we sell 3 different product lines to new and existing clients. In this journey, we ally with Sales Engineering, SalesOps, Global Operations, Marketing, Product, and Accounting to ensure we are putting our best effort with every client we take on. The Role
The Senior Strategic Account Director is responsible for achieving sales revenue targets while exemplifying the Feedonomics Core Values. They will focus on acquiring new business and expanding existing relationships with the market’s largest and most strategic global accounts by positioning our full suite of products: Advertising, Marketplace, B2B, and Custom Solutions.
Feedonomics works with 30% of the top 1,000 online retailers and brands and we partner with some of the most prominent agencies globally.
The Responsibilities
- You will create and drive strategy for a book of business comprised of brands, retailers, and agency, platform and technology partners with a dual focus on relationship building and unlocking new business opportunities that are aligned with customer business objectives
- You will be responsible for full sales cycle management across net new logo acquisition in close collaboration with internal teams and partner organizations
- You will manage pipeline generation efforts with significant support from marketing, partnership, sales development, and business development resources
- You will be responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally in pursuit of progressing enterprise-wide engagement across your book of business
- You will continuously build strong executive relationships across your book of business
- You will represent Feedonomics’ unique value proposition and speak lucidly about what differentiates us from competitors via consultative means and by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, and partner ecosystems
- You will leverage the partner ecosystem to maximize value across all engagements and provide your book of business a strategic viewpoint on sustained omnichannel growth
- You are expected to meet quotas consistently, regularly working with six figure annual contracts
- You will participate in ad hoc projects to support strategic initiatives aligned with business growth
- You will need to navigate a matrixed organization to maximize client satisfaction and improve sales performance
The Requirements
- 10+ years in SaaS enterprise sales with demonstrated success leading sophisticated solution-led sales engagements
- Experience working within matrixed organizations
- Problem solving mentality
- eCommerce or adtech industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong project management skills; deep experience selling into multi-stakeholder organizations
- Ability to plan and manage a busy schedule
- Travel required up to 30%
- Familiarity with MEDDIC, MEDDPIC, ValueSelling, Challenger or another professional selling methodology
- Excellent listening and communication skills, a high aptitude for understanding how business and software systems overlap, and a fearless approach to learning
- Experience carrying a quota and managing a pipeline of enterprise level opportunities
- Ability to understand a technical SaaS product
- Need to help prospect architect a solution that solves their problems
- Ability to develop and present account growth strategy to management
- Comfortable traveling to tradeshows and client meetings as needed
- Comfortable bringing in partners from across our industry to help close a client with complex needs we can’t directly solve
