We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to start their career in tech sales to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
This is a permanent, full-time, remote position with a base pay range of $50K to $60K annually. While the role is remote, we would love to have someone in the northern Alabama area that could do in person training with leadership on occasion.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients through various channels
Conduct outbound calls, send emails, and leverage other communication methods to engage with prospective clients
Assess and qualify leads based to ensure they meet the ideal customer profile
Develop and maintain relationships with prospects to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively
Coordinate and schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team
Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline using CRM software
Provide regular updates on outreach activities, lead status, and results to leadership
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights
Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or commensurate experience
1+ years experience working in sales or lead generation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to engage prospects and build relationships
Self-motivation and dedication with a passion for selling and exceeding targets
Strong project coordination and time management skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Technologically Savvy - able to quickly develop an understanding of our products and services
