Java Team Lead

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Java Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of developers while driving the design and development of enterprise-grade applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Java, AWS, and microservices, with strong leadership skills to guide the team toward delivering state-of-the-art solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Design and develop enterprise-grade, high-volume web applications and platforms.
Implement microservices in an AWS-based architecture using Java and Spring technologies.
Oversee technical designs, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Requirements

Academic/Training

Minimum Academic Training: Complete university education, equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
Primary Area of Training: Computer Science, Systems, or related Engineering.
Secondary Area of Training: Software development, focused on Java and AWS.

Experience

6+ years in software development roles.
At least 2 years of experience as a Team or Technical Lead.
Proven experience designing and developing microservices in AWS-based architectures.

Technical Knowledge

Must-have:
- Java, Spring.
- Microservice implementations in AWS.
- Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Selenium.

Job Details

Type of Contract: Indefinite.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (GMT-6).
Work Modality: Fully remote position, 100% WFH (candidates must reside/travel within LATAM).
