Job description

The Corporate Director of Talent Acquisition will lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies across our portfolio. This role involves overseeing candidate sourcing, placement, and the training of hiring teams. They must be strategic, organized, and able to manage multiple projects while traveling independently. This position collaborates closely with the Vice President of People + Culture.

 

Requested Tasks

  • Manage both corporate and property recruitment processes, ensuring that Makeready’s talent acquisition strategy is consistent and aligned with organizational goals, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer coordination across multiple levels.
  • Partner closely with leadership teams across properties and corporate divisions to proactively address recruitment needs, build strong external networks, and maintain a consistent presence on platforms like LinkedIn and other job boards to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Utilize tools like Predictive Index to provide valuable candidate insights, enhancing the hiring process by ensuring alignment between candidates’ profiles and organizational needs while maintaining compliance with EEOC and benefits guidelines.
  • Foster Makeready’s brand through engaging and updated job descriptions, external communications, and by promoting the company’s Guiding Principles during all phases of recruitment to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Conduct regular audits of recruitment platforms, monitor the accuracy of job postings, and ensure that recruitment efforts meet legal and company standards while providing ongoing feedback to property and corporate teams for process optimization.

 

Requested Capabilities

  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • At least 4+ years in corporate Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.        
  • Experience working with large-scale Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and a deep understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter, ensuring efficient candidate sourcing and management.
  • Ability to handle multiple high-level tasks simultaneously, maintaining excellent execution and clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to travel independently for job fairs, networking events, and recruitment needs while adhering to company travel policies.
