We are hiring a Backend Tech Lead to join our team in Spain or Portugal! 🚀

Role responsibilities:

• Design and evolve the architecture of the Agile Device Manager modules including administrative tools, backend serves and Android device applications.
• Validate and ensure the robustness of the new features being delivered.
• Provide technical direction, guidance, and hands-on management to help the members of the development team grow professionally.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the roadmap for next-generation features.
• Interact with customers to provide support and help understand their needs.
• Continuously evolve processes and development practices to ensure software quality.
• Support DevOps team in planning and optimizing infrastructure for new and existing deployments.

What you will bring to the role:

• +10 years experience in backend development, with a strong focus on event-driven architecture, clean architecture and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, with hands-on experience designing and implementing event-driven systems.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages commonly used in backend development, such as Java (Android also), C#, or PHP.
• Experience with distributed and highly scalable systems, including event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with unit, integration and load testing.
• Experience managing multi-cultural, distributed teams in different locations and timezones.
• Flexibility to deal with complex solutions involving many different technologies.
• Know-how in cloud service architecture and cost optimization.
• Fluency in English. Spanish and/or Portuguese are a plus.
