Overview

The RPA Developer (Blue Prism) plays a vital role in streamlining and automating business processes within the organization. This position focuses on designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation solutions using Blue Prism technology. The RPA Developer works closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify automation opportunities, significantly enhancing operational efficiencies. As organizations increasingly embrace automation to reduce costs and improve accuracy, the RPA Developer's role is critical in ensuring successful implementation and long-term sustainability of automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automation solutions using Blue Prism software.
Conduct process assessments and identify opportunities for automation.
Collaborate with business analysts to gather and document requirements.
Implement best practices for RPA development to optimize performance.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting of developed automation.
Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automated processes.
Maintain and support existing automated solutions.
Provide training to end users on using automated processes.
Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and reviews.
Document technical specifications and process designs in detail.
Monitor and analyze automation performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Participate in project planning and status reporting with team members.
Resolve issues and improve processes based on user feedback.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance and security standards.
Stay updated with the latest improvements in RPA technology.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in RPA development, specifically with Blue Prism.
Strong understanding of automation frameworks and methodologies.
Experience with process mapping and business process re-engineering.
Proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as C#, VB.NET, or Python.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with SQL and database management.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for user-friendly automation.
Understanding of IT compliance and security standards.
Relevant certifications in Blue Prism RPA are a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
