We are seeking a talented Healthcare Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Data Scientist with NLP expertise, you will play a key role in leveraging advanced analytics techniques to derive insights from large-scale healthcare data, including electronic health records (EHRs) and unstructured clinical notes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy NLP-driven solutions that support clinical decision-making, population health management, and healthcare operations optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced NLP techniques to extract structured information from unstructured clinical notes and other healthcare text data.
Develop and implement machine learning models to analyze healthcare data and predict clinical outcomes, patient trends, and disease progression.
Collaborate with clinicians, data engineers, and IT professionals to integrate NLP-driven insights into healthcare workflows and systems.
Lead or participate in multidisciplinary projects focused on healthcare data analytics, including project planning, execution, and reporting.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in healthcare data science, NLP, and machine learning, and evaluate their potential applications in the healthcare domain.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
4+ years in healthcare data analytics, with hands-on experience leading NLP-driven solutions to fulfill data customer needs.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, with demonstrated experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with healthcare databases and data warehouses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
