Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer who has a strong background in user experience design within fintech SaaS environments. The ideal candidate will be involved in the end-to-end engineering process, collaborating closely with our engineering teams to deliver user-centric solutions. You will leverage your knowledge of digital transformations to enhance our products, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and provide seamless experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to gather user requirements and develop design concepts that align with business and user needs.
  • Lead the design process from ideation to execution, creating wireframes, prototypes, and customer storyboards using Figma and other design tools.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions, ensuring an optimal user experience that meets regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Create detailed design specifications and documentation to effectively communicate design ideas and requirements to engineering teams.
  • Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and performance metrics to continually improve the user experience.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization and champion best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Monitor industry trends and leverage insights to influence the design strategy for future product developments.

Key Requirements and Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a fintech SaaS or equivalent scale-up environment.
  • Proven experience working in an agile team and collaborating directly with engineering teams on product delivery.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing user-centric applications, particularly in regulated industries like asset management or insurance.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, with a strong focus on Figma for wireframing and interactive prototypes.
  • Familiarity with customer storyboarding and user journey mapping to illustrate user experiences.
  • Solid understanding of user experience principles, usability testing methodologies, and design thinking processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and engage with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
