About the role:

The Marketing Automation Implementation Consultant helps position Kicksaw as a leader in Salesforce consulting and plays an important role in the success of Kicksaw’s client relationships and implementations. The Marketing Automation Implementation Consultant will serve as our marketing clients’ main point of contact to provide strategic recommendations, deploy marketing solutions, and manage projects to ensure a successful implementation is delivered on time and on target.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive Salesforce marketing automation implementations and successful client relationships in a consulting group looking to rid the world of the utilization model for billing!

What the Marketing Automation Implementation Consultant will do:

  • Lead full project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement, and optimize) of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
  • Design and delivery of solutions in Email Studio
  • Design, implement, and optimize automated email/mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio and Journey Builder,
  • Set up and configure data models 
  • Collaborate with peers and marketing clients to build consensus
  • Provide strategy and best practices to marketing clients
  • Provide training and support to marketing clients
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for new marketing clients from the time of sale through the implementation process
  • Deliver exceptional value and client satisfaction by exhibiting accountability for all elements of your project(s) including scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and issues
  • Create and configure Salesforce campaigns
  • Assist with internal training and onboarding, as needed

The Marketing Automation Implementation Consultant is a critical position within the Kicksaw community! Our ideal candidate has experience in the following key areas:

Technical experience:

  • 4+ years of marketing automation implementation or admin experience within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
  • 2+ required certification(s): Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant
  • 5+ full project implementations of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the platform
  • Basic creation of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • AMPScript and SQL experience 
  • Able to walk through technical logic at a detailed level
  • Understands technical stories and technical debt
  • Understands underlying technical architecture at a detailed level
  • Sales Cloud knowledge and ability to set up marketing-relevant features (Engagement History, Campaign Influence, etc.)
  • Prior experience with project management, deploying marketing solutions, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement solutions
  • Prior experience integrating Marketing Automation Platforms with Salesforce
  • Prior experience reporting and analyzing marketing data
  • Prior experience with multiple business units, multi-org setup, and custom preference centers

Marketing automation experience:

  • Knowledge of Demand Generation functionalities including webinar setup, email campaigns, lead nurturing, paid media promotion, content syndication, and lead generation, etc.
  • Familiarity with Campaign attribution and can explain first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch attribution

Delivery experience:

  • 4+ years of consultant and/or account management experience
  • 4+ years of SaaS project management experience, including gathering requirements from the client, tracking and planning projects, and working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Organized and disciplined about tracking projects, delivery, and timelines
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and pushing back on ideas or solutions that aren’t best practices
  • Proven track record of demonstrating and driving results and accountability of business needs
  • Strong communication skills with a genuine interest in helping people and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly via email, slack, or over the phone
  • Flexible and able to easily pivot from one priority to another without missing a beat
  • Strong task and client management skills and the ability to work with and manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, in any capacity

Bonus points for:

  • 2+ preferred additional certification(s): Salesforce Certified Associate, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Advanced Cross Channel
  • Experience with 3rd party integrations 
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (fka Pardot), Marketing Cloud Mobile Studio, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization, and/or Marketing Cloud Intelligence

Additional details:

  • For candidates based in the United States, this position includes an annual base salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 USD  
  • For candidates based in Canada, this position includes an annual base salary range of $125,000 - $187,500 CAD
  • Final compensation offers are based on level of experience, skillset, certifications, and education.

Note: We anticipate interviews for this role will start in early January.
