What you’ll do as an Account Manager:
As a trusted Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing superior customer experiences, nurturing a select portfolio of TGE’s most valued clients, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities. In addition, you’ll identify new prospective customers helping them to benefit from TGE’s bespoke solutions across road, rail, air and sea.

Typical duties & responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Prepare quarterly sales plans for all customers in the portfolio for management review
- Review, integrity check and ensure all revenue, rates, cost modelling, billing details and contractual arrangements are in system and valid
- Undertake complete customer profitability modelling to ensure that each customer is meeting appropriate profitability benchmarks
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with management, operational staff and drivers
- Establish competitor/market information profile and report market activities to management
What are we ideally looking for in an Account Manager? What’s important?
- 2+ years experience within a sales or account management position, ideally within a service solution, as opposed to a tangible product
- A high-level of solution selling/negotiation/presentations experience
- Strong analytical and numerical ability and comprehension
- Key personality traits & characteristics would include positivity, drive, tenacity, analytical & continuous improvement mindset, and results focused
- PowerPoint & Excel skills (intermediate level required)
- Valid Australian car license
- More importantly, you take pride in your work, you’re driven/energetic, positive, and dedicated
Extra points for the following (not essential though):
- Experience within the logistics, transportation, supply chain, and/or heavy industries
- Salesforce experience
- Power BI expertise
- Business and/or logistics degree
This role can be based from our offices at either Newcastle or Central Coast (ample parking available at both).
