Who We Need:
Arootah is actively seeking a Director of Corporate Wellness who can help improve people's well-being in corporate business environments, as well as public community centers. The Director will be creating, and monitoring programs intended to improve the physical and mental health of workers and their families, using preventive means that provide measurable results.
The Director of Corporate Wellness is a critical leadership role, reporting to the CEO and the COO of Arootah. We are seeking a proactive, self-starter to lead our Corporate Wellness initiatives and programs to further the Arootah mission.
What You’ll Do:Develop robust, executable corporate wellness program that showcases the Arootah missionCreate, monitor, and evaluate CW programs to ensure participation by client’s and their employeesProvide information promoting health and disease preventionWork with internal and external resources to provide actionable corporate wellness programs for B2B and B2C clientele combining Arootah’s health and wellness services.Ability to thrive and excel in a start-up company environmentUse Arootah tools to effectively support clients on their wellness journeyIncorporate and contribute to all Arootah’s Corporate Wellness services including: Education: webinars and workshopsFitness ClassesHealth CoachingSpecialty Health CoachingRenewal/Stress ManagementSpecialty ProgramsCorporate RetreatsWho You Are:Proactive self-starter, with a strong work ethic and integrityEnthusiastic regarding the links between wellness and employer/employee healthAwareness to ensure inclusion of employee health disparities when executing programsFlexible and agile with the ability to adjust programs as needed to meet client needsLeader that can supervise, manage and motivate Arootah’s corporate wellness employees and contractors (fitness instructors, health coaches, and specialty health coaches)Ethical and honest to maintain legal adherence to client confidentiality as it relates to scope of practice and all documents related to interaction with Arootah and clientsBusiness acumen to participate and lead marketing and sales efforts for CW programming including social media outreach, webinars, and seminarsAbility to oversee fitness and yoga program developmentFocused with the ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful situationsCulturally competent to work with diverse clients and employeesAdaptive with the ability to learn and teach Arootah toolsQualifications and Requirements:BA, in Exercise Science, Nutrition, and/or Health, or related field; MS a plusDemonstrated experience with the successful development, execution, and management of Corporate Wellness programsCorporate Wellness experience to the financial services industry; alternative investments a plusCorporate Wellness experience: 5+ years; Sales experience: 3+ yearsCertified/licensed nutritionists and or dieticianBoard Certified Health and Wellness Coach: NBHWC, NANP; ICF Certified Coach a plusDiversity and Inclusion TrainingExperience with strategy and analysis regarding program performanceAdministrative and or legal experienceHas supervised staff charged with various program implementationAbility to work under tight deadlines and stressful situations.Must be flexible and adaptive with ability to work with a team of 20+ with varied inputs, changes, and directionsStrong work ethic, entrepreneurial, with a growth mind-setStrong critical thinking skills, analyticalExcellent verbal and written communication skills; can clearly communicate with clients and their employeesComputer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointPERKS WITH US

The expected base pay range for this position is $70,000 - $150,000. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which may also include discretionary bonus and potential eligibility for equity, as well as other benefits described above. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on several factors, including skills, qualifications and experience.
