Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented consultative Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in payer core operations to engage with potential clients, understand their unique challenges, and present tailored solutions that drive value for their organizations. Your focus will be on building relationships with key stakeholders in the payer space, particularly in the areas of benefits, membership, and billing.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and targets prospective clients in the payer market, focusing on health plans and insurance organizations
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations
  • Conducts thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ current challenges and operational inefficiencies
  • Presents our solutions in a consultative manner, demonstrating how our products can enhance payer core operations, benefits administration, membership management, and billing processes
  • Develops 3x pipeline as compared to quota by quarter
  • Prepares sales reports with critical targets, trends, and highlights on a quarterly basis, and analyzing data to improve sales approach across the funnel
  • Works with customers to understand business and develop business cases and ROI to support change
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to align client needs with our offerings
  • Prepares and delivers compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients
  • Stays informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting the payer landscape
  • Achieves and exceeds sales targets through strategic account management and relationship building
  • Participates in industry conferences and events to generate leads
  • Mentors and coaches other sales professionals
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Advanced financial acumen to structure profitable deals
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams
  • Advanced skills in strategic thinking.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach with demonstrable knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement software


Experience:

  • 10 years of consultative sales experience in the healthcare technology or payer sector, with a strong understanding of payer core operations, benefits, membership, and billing

 

Required Training, Certification and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field

Preferred Training, Certification and Education:

  • Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
