Job description

The Land Terra team is in need of an Interpreter who will become a strong contributor and make a difference. In the Interpreter, you will be responsible for breaking down language barriers by helping an English and a Spanish-speaking person communicate over the phone, within the Medical Industry and 911 emergencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Advanced/Native spoken English and Spanish level (C1 English Level minimum)
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables
Great communication skills (written and oral) in English and Spanish.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Digital Tools such as Teams, Zoom, and Google Tools
Driven and self-motivated individual able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
Positive and proactive attitude
Self-starter, sense of urgency, works well under pressure, ability to work in fast paced environment
Sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships
Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Ability to follow instructions and performance guidelines
Knowledge of medical terminology is desired
Experience in consecutive interpretation is a plus

The candidate must be able to train on-site (first 2 months) and work from home.
Office hours: 7am to 5pm (daylight savings time) and 8am to 6pm (regular time)
