SIMnet to put new experiences in the hands of educators and learners.
In this role, you will be the linchpin of the product - the technical expert for the product, sales, marketing and business teams and the product expert for the technical teams. By combining intimate knowledge of customers, strong analytical skills, and technical acumen, you will drive a holistic product vision that energizes your teammates and delights your customers.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What can you expect from the position:
- Build web based, responsive learning tools that will be used by learners and educators throughout the world.
- Work closely with engineering and product manager teammates, designing and developing applications and services to support business and engineering initiatives.
- Be responsible for end-to-end delivery (tech design, development and testing) and maintenance of our products
- Manage the entire software development life cycle using infra and monitoring as code.
- Promoting engineering best practices within your team to ensure quality, stability, performance, resiliency, and maintainability of your software.
- Work with a talented group of engineers who believe in extreme ownership.
- Being a champion of the customer’s voice to ensure our products are built with customer empathy at the forefront.
- Sharing your knowledge and practices with other teams.
We’re Looking for Someone with:
- Experience building responsive, accessible and high-performance web-based products.
- Ability and desire to work in various layers of software stack (front end, backend, and database).
- Experience with one or more observability platforms to monitor health of the products.
- Cloud native development experience.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Willingness to own the quality of your code and products .
What are the required technical skills?
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or 5+ Years of equivalent experience in product or enterprise software development.
- Proven technical abilities in testing and deployment pipelines.
- Focus on application quality and testing practices like unit, integration and e2e testing, code coverage analysis and automated software inspection.
- Passion for engineering best practices.
- Strong sense of customer empathy and a commitment to delighting customers.
- Ability to work across functional and domain boundaries to deliver software on time and with quality.
- Experience with most or all of the below full stack technologies:
- A11Y: Axe tools, screen-readers
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS & LESS, Bootstrap 4/5, Redux, Immutable.js
- Backend / API: NodeJS, RESTful API clients and consumption
- Testing automation: Playwright, A11Y tools
- Experience with any of these technologies is a plus:
- Databases: SQL, MongoDB
- Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Telemetry and Observability, Terraform

The pay range for this position is between $124,350 - $150,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
