Qualifications
Bachelors degree required in finance, accounting, or any other related field of study
2+ years of experience as financial analyst
Must have experience with strong financial modeling
Experience with budget vs. actual / variance analysis
Advanced experience in Excel
Experience with POEX
Job Duties
Refine and optimize existing financial models, improving their accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Perform data clean-up and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data for modeling purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data inputs and assumptions for model updates.
Assist in monthly financial reporting and variance analysis of forecast/actuals and KPIs.
Equip product managers with monthly insight on particular business trends.
Support the development and revision of short and long-term financial plans.
Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests.
Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
Support strategic decision-making, which will include analytics initiatives such as financial modeling, go-to-market strategy, channel performance measurement, and cost-benefit analysis.
Assist in department-level budgeting, tracking and reporting processes, with the goal of accurately forecasting and managing expectations.
Assist in the transition to a new accounting system and chart of accounts, ensuring accurate integration of financial data and alignment of key financial models across departments and global teams.
Help drive business decisions by providing actionable financial reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis
