Description

Zencargo is expanding into the US, and we're looking for our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the team! As the pioneer SDR on the ground, you'll work closely with our sales leadership to build and scale our presence in this new market. With a strong foothold in Europe and a growing customer base in the US, this is a unique opportunity to help shape our sales strategy from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

You will be covering the US (100%) market to:

  • Become a strategic partner to our sales team, working together to test sales messaging, refine our value proposition, and execute our go-to-market strategy

  • Drive quality outbound engagement with potential clients every single day (calls, emails, video, social, LinkedIn etc.)

  • Rigorously research as you identify key decision-makers and reach out with personalised, and attention-grabbing messages.

  • Grow far beyond the "standard SDR" role by being involved in projects to help scale the sales team.

  • Leverage Zencargo's powerful network of company founders, executives, and industry leaders to establish connections to new customer accounts

  • Master our CRM system (Salesforce) to analyse your performance through activity and metrics

  • Collaborate extensively across the team and serve as a liaison between sales, customer success, and product



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Minimum 12 months of sales experience, in a B2B environment

  • Located in the Chicago area

  • Demonstrated success in hitting activity metrics and meeting deadlines

  • You are hardworking and highly motivated to develop your commercial skills

  • Great communicator: you can explain complex concepts in clear, concise language

  • You are coachable and willing to go the extra mile to improve.
