We are searching for someone to join our team as a Business Performance Specialist.


The Business Performance Specialist must have experience and knowledge in all areas of subrogation, including, but not limited to, Auto, Med-Pay, PIP, Property, Arbitration and applicable internal and external systems to handle the auditing and training needs of the Subrogation Department.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert as it relates to internal and external systems, resources, processes and procedures. Will take a lead role in new hire training/onboarding, refresher training and development of training resources. Participate in call calibrations. 45% of work time.
  • Complete monthly quality audits of Arbitration, Uninsured Motorist and Insurance Subrogation files, which will include Auto, Med-Pay, PIP, and Property claims. Deliver feedback and coaching needs to Manager and/or Employees, when necessary. 35% of work time.
  • Manage and update process documents, maintain SharePoint site, and communicate changes to the department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility. 20% of work time.


Specific Business Performance Specialist responsibilities:

  • Communicate promptly and professionally to all communications from both internal and external customers.
  • Research and apply all state specific laws and statutes.
  • Update training resources when appropriate.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, college degree preferred.
  • Adjuster license preferred.
  • 5+ years of Subrogation claims experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of relevant insurance industry courses preferred.
  • Previous training and auditing experience preferred.
  • Working experience with Arbitration Forums products (E-Subro Hub, TRS) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the flexibility to determine the highest priority task for the day.
  • Communicate clearly and logically, using appropriate written and oral techniques. Seek clarification for unclear or missing information.
  • Demonstrate a sincere interest in listening to and responding to customer concerns and solving their issue in a timely manner.
  • Possess exemplary reasoning / problem solving skills and negotiating techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency within a team environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
