Account Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our Professional Liability Team. This strategic advisor role will play an integral part in developing cohesive relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with demonstrated success in servicing new and existing accounts and supporting Producer-led business efforts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
• Initiate renewal process for existing clients, and discuss and create renewal strategy with the Producer
• Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
• Conducts marketing, negotiate rates, review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy
• Reviews and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals
• Finalize proposals and presentations in coordination with the Producer
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegate certificate issuance
• Review policies for accuracy and transmittal

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience of Professional Liability / Commercial Lines client management experience
• Valid P&C license
• College degree preferred
• Industry specific designations preferred - CISR, ARM or similar
• Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting
• Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $63,000 - $70,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
