As Business Systems Analyst III, you play a pivotal senior level role within our engineering team, which is dedicated to developing and supporting SaaS technology products. Your contributions are instrumental in shaping the direction of our engineering efforts. You excel in eliciting requirements, conducting thorough data analysis, crafting comprehensive diagrams and documentation, and crafting user stories that drive our product development forward.

You may be ideal if you have:
- 7+ years of experience writing requirements for enterprise-class software solutions.
- Payment Integrity experience highly preferred.
- BA/BS in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or 3+ professional experience in an enterprise-class setting.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, including conducting interviews, workshops, and requirements elicitation sessions.
- Strong experience analyzing data from various sources, such as flat files or web sources, as well development data mappings and defining data layouts.
- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to clearly articulate complex problems and solutions.
- Background with querying data from SQL and/or No-SQL databases.
- Experience in Scrum, SAFe, or similar Agile Framework.
- Advanced experience defining requirements for software initiatives, covering UI, API, and database considerations.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and information systems to identify business needs and propose solutions.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, workflows, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Excellent communication and written skills, along with interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Positive, self-motivated, driven, and teachable attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Lead interviews, workshops, and team meetings to deeply understand business needs and meticulously document requirements.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to drive solutions aligned with core objectives and vision.
- Develop precise documentation, including process flows, technical requirements, UI designs, modules, and data mappings.
- Craft testable requirements and enhance user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Work seamlessly within Agile Scrum or Kanban frameworks, supporting both software development and QA engineering teams.
- Liaise with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to ensure user-focused product documentation and training materials are relevant and effective.
- Take ownership of refining and maintaining the team's backlog according to established norms.
- Personally maintain and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with project objectives and standards.
