Job description

Direct Counsel is seeking to add a remote Legal Recruiter to our team. As a part of Premium Boutique Legal Recruiting Firm, Direct Counsel brings Legal local market intel to offer exceptional and exemplary workforce solutions to premier law firms and in-house legal departments, both locally and nationally.

As a Boutique Firm, at Direct Counsel, we work closely with organizations in a nimble manner to add value and provide top legal talent.

Requirements

  • Recruiting attorneys and legal professionals for positions with law firms and corporate legal departments
  • In-depth interviewing with attorneys and legal professional candidates to assess qualifications
  • Networking with attorneys and legal professionals
  • Extending offers of employment to attorneys and legal professional candidates and negotiating compensation packages
  • Assisting clients and candidates in making discreet and informed employment decisions

Qualifications:

  • Must have strong understanding of the legal industry
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Prior sales experience - client services
  • Business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Legal background and the desire to move into a sales/recruiting role
  • JD strongly preferred
