Job Title: BMS Project Manager (Home-based with Site Visits)
Location: North of England (Home-based, with travel to project sites)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
BMS Project Manager to join our Client's dynamic team, working on critical projects in hospitals across the North of England. This is a home-based role with frequent site visits, offering flexibility and a competitive salary of up to £60,000.
As a BMS Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Building Management System (BMS) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will lead the planning, execution, and handover phases while managing stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage BMS projects from inception to completion, with a focus on hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress, ensure quality standards, and troubleshoot any issues.
Ensure projects comply with industry standards and client specifications, with a focus on NHS and healthcare regulations.
Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resources, while mitigating risks.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients.
Manage project financials, ensuring budgets are adhered to and reporting any variances.
Ensure Health & Safety compliance on all project sites.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in BMS or building services, particularly within hospital or healthcare settings.
Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Schneider, Siemens, or similar).
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.
Familiarity with thePublic Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of hospital operations and the complexities involved in working within healthcare environments.
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Ability to travel across the North of England as required.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree or certification in engineering, building services, or project management.
Prince2, PMP, or similar project management qualification (desirable).
Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.
