Job Description: Part-Time Virtual Assistant

Position: Part-Time Virtual Assistant
Location: Remote
Hours: 6 hours per week, spread over 3 days (Monday, either Tuesday or Wednesday, and Thursday)
Rate: $4.50 - $6 per hour (depending on experience and quality of work)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and detail-oriented Part-Time Virtual Assistant to provide remote secretarial, administrative, and market research support. Commencing with six (6) hours per week, this role offers flexibility in working hours and the potential to transition into extended hours or even full-time position eventually based on performance and mutual agreement. Candidates with either strong administrative, marketing, or design backgrounds will be considered. This role can evolve and become a hybrid of adminstrative and marketing, or become one or the other, depending on the strength of the successful candidate.  

WHAT: 

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support.
  • Conduct online market research and compile key intelligence reports.
  • Format CVs, create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • [Optional] produce marketing materials and content such as posters and brochures.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

YOU:

  • Ideally university educated with a degree in business, marketing, design, psychology, or related disciplines.  
  • Minimum of 4 years of office administration or virtual assistant experience.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator with a demonstrable portfolio.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Fast word processing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly responsive and proactive in communication; friendly, team player.
  • Adheres and respects confidentiality. 
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Chinese would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
