Overview: Position: Aspen Estate Manager: Riverbend & Stillwater Homes & Marble Properties Department: NuovoRE Reporting to: COO Location: Aspen, CO NuovoRE exists to create one-of-a-kind, profitable real estate investments that provide permanently meaningful social and community impact in which they reside. About the Position A confidential and private Family Office with growing business, philanthropic, and personal initiatives is seeking a full-time Estate Manager to be based in Aspen, Colorado. The Estate Manager will work under the supervision of the COO to coordinate activities between local personnel, satellite property managers, vendors, and partners. You’ll join a top-notch group responsible for management of multiple residential properties while ensuring an excellent experience for the owners and their guests. Responsibilities:

Role Description

The Estate Manager role is pivotal in overseeing and guiding our hospitality real estate development endeavors, ensuring they offer luxury experiences for those booking short term rentals and family members. The Estate Manager is integral to the visioning and execution of each asset’s experiential offering and this individual will be responsible for creating and managing operational budgets and managing capex projects. The professional fulfilling this role will be responsible for the complete project life cycle, from inception to handover, while fostering a culture of excellence, and collaboration.

 

What you will do
• Manage two local properties (both having a STR License) and remote properties in Marble, CO (approximately a 40-minute drive from Aspen).
• Maintain a clear understanding of owner preferences and execute accordingly.
• Continually review and improve processes and procedures for best-in-class service.
• Coordinate with other Estate Managers and Staff to ensure consistent delivery of services.
• Manage property calendars, including guest and owner visits, maintenance, and repairs, etc.
• Assist with organization of homes so that they are logical, well thought out, safe and functional.
• Develop pre-arrival processes for all entities.
• Understand family needs based on location/residence and assist with planning, packing, unpacking, organization, etc.
• Assist with and/or personally conduct weekly home walk-throughs to ensure homes are well maintained and in top condition.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff on best practices to ensure cleanliness of homes and properties and step in to assist housekeeping when needed.
• Assist with the e-bicycles, including arranging for service and repairs, delivering, and/or picking up bikes to/from the repair shop, ordering bike accessories.
• Manage pre-arrival through post-departure experience for owners and their guests.
• Assist with vehicle oversight, including maintenance schedules, logistics, registration, and insurance.
• Assist with pet care including meals, vet visits, administering scheduled medications, walks, play and exercise.
• Oversee network of third-party vendors; set clear expectations and build strong relationships with individual vendors and the vendor community.
• Effectively negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to meet service expectations and ensure appropriate expense management.
• Assist with coordinating any property related collateral.
• Manage issues and troubleshoot emerging problems as they arise.
• Provide specialized concierge services as needed for the family and visitors.
• Maintain databases relating to all properties.
• Maintain budgets for all properties.
• Participate in end of month P&L reviews for all properties.
• Responsible for property websites and marketing collateral
• Drive an automobile on company business.
• Utilize ongoing feedback from owners to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Work Environment
Locations of work will vary and could include office locations and private residences. While
performing the duties of this job, the associate may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid
conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold and heat. The associate
must frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This opportunity is a career-oriented position. Standard operating hours are 8:00 am-5:00pm,
Monday-Friday, yet flexibility in working hours may be required to meet client deadlines and
complete tasks within tight time constraints. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. 5-10
hours a week for Marble will be expected during peak season March-October.


Travel
Up to 30% travel will be required and all related costs will be reimbursed by the company.

 

Compensation Range : $120,000-$140,000
