Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Product Designer to lead and oversee the design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences for our mobile applications.

The Job:

  • Design Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance in the design process, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
  • Core Design Work: Personally execute core design tasks, including wireframing, prototyping, and creating visual designs for mobile interfaces.
  • Delegation and Mentorship: Delegate design tasks to junior designers as appropriate, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the product development process.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of design work to ensure adherence to design principles, brand guidelines, and usability standards.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Provide constructive feedback on design work and iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, including design systems, style guides, and specifications, to support consistent design implementation across platforms.
  • User Research: Participate in user research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the design team to foster continuous learning and improvement.
  • Communication: Communicate design decisions, rationale, and progress effectively to stakeholders, and facilitate design reviews and presentations as needed.

Requirements

The Person:

  • 3 - 5 years experience as a UI/UX designer. 
  • Basic understanding of Figma components and prototyping is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal. 
  • Good understanding of colour science and combinations. 
  • Artistic and innovative flair. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Meticulous and diligent. 
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends.
