Job description

Job Title: Remote Medical Administrative Assistant (must work east coast hours of 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM EST)

Job Description

  • Act as liaison between proposed insured(s), underwriters, general agents, and vendors to facilitate the underwriting and new business process for each application by obtaining any outstanding requirements needed.
  • After the medical interview is conducted, review the life insurance application to ensure data accuracy and correlation with the system and interviewer notes.
  • Assemble the case for escalation and review.
  • Perform data entry tasks using different platforms to ensure accurate information and add necessary notes for proper processing.

Hard Skills

  • 1+ year of customer service/call center experience in the healthcare or medical field
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to use Dual Monitors
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Work Site

This is a fully remote position. Required to work East Coast hours from 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM EST.

Work Environment

This is for a corporate organization with 400+ employees. Full-time remote. Candidates must have a router to plug into and a private home office.
