Salary expectation for this role is $141,000 - $177,000 plus bonus and car allowance
Key Accountabilities
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing their usual and customary business requests
Elevate and expand relationships across functional departments within the customer supply chain
Identify and collaborate with local sales and operations contacts within DP World to support the account's needs
Create comprehensive development plans, across the full toolbox of capabilities, for all aspects of assigned accounts, regularly updating them
OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION
Identify and qualify opportunities for additional business, guiding them from initial contact to contract
Collaborate with Region/DP World Country Capabilities sales and account management to match customer needs with DP World's capabilities
Expands market share by driving an active opportunity pipeline
COMMUNICATION & REPORTING
Conducts regular business reviews, leveraging internal data and market intelligence
Provide regular reports, briefings, and reviews within DP World, including updates to the regional CCOs, VPs, global KAM (if applicable and working on global accounts) and Vertical Leads
Ensure all stakeholders are informed of the account's strategy and status
RETENTION & GROWTH
Develop and execute plans to retain current global business levels with specified accounts, aiming for a "no bid" confidence level
Build and strengthen relationships with the client at the "C" level and across relevant levels and geographies
Own account strategy including RFP, proposal, and award management through a clear understanding of customer buying habits
Engage internal leadership team members to ensure alignment, resource prioritization and participation in account strategy
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Drive Gross Profit growth at a global to Region/DP World Country level
Ensure compliance with commercial arrangements and customer obligations
Proactive review of financial results, volume, and service performance reports to monitor and drive account health
BUDGET & ROI
Contribute input for the annual budget cycle based on approved account plans
Take responsibility for achieving targets that benefit both DP World and the customer
LEADERSHIP
Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration, full set of toolbox capabilities, and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound
Act as an ambassador for DP World always when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
Remain agile and creative to keep a strong team culture
Qualifications, Experience And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
Proven track record of experience on the Retail vertical
Proven track record in account management, with demonstrated client retention and growth success
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Excel, logistics software)
Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events
Experience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish, Portuguese are a plus
