Where Do You Fit In?

As the Senior Director of Business Development CRO, you will be a key player in driving Signant Health's growth. You'll partner with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and biotech mid-market clients, offering them our full suite of innovative solutions, including the Unified Platform, eCOA, EDC, IRT, SmartSupplies, TrialConsent, and Patient Engagement tools. Your role will be instrumental in achieving our sales growth objectives and expanding our market presence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with CROs and clients, both existing and prospective. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities to introduce our products and services.
  • Solution Development: Craft compelling technology offerings and operational strategies that meet client needs, ensuring alignment with their clinical trial goals.
  • Engaging Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to sponsors. Represent Signant Health at major industry events and trade shows, showcasing our innovative solutions.
  • Account Growth: Develop account and territory strategies aimed at acquiring new customers and expanding within existing accounts. Proactively identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Proposal Management: Collect critical information for proposal preparation, contribute to the proposal process, and participate in bid defense meetings.
  • Sales Success: Negotiate, close, and book sales opportunities, collaborating across matrix structures to meet and exceed sales targets.

What You Bring

  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in a sales role within the life sciences sector, with experience selling e-clinical solutions like EDC, eCOA, RTSM, eConsent, and Telemedicine.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the CRO industry and territory-specific nuances. Familiarity with biotech and pharmaceutical sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain productive client relationships, with a strong focus on prospecting and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Leadership in Proposals: Experience leading proposal and bid defense processes, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to create and execute a territory/account plan, effectively managing your sales funnel to achieve annual targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix structure, collaborating with international colleagues in a global company.

Bonus Skills We Appreciate

  • CRM Proficiency: Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • International Experience: Experience working collaboratively with global teams in a matrix reporting structure.
