Your missions

Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Business Development Manager to join our vibrant Travel Agency Sales team. In this remote role, you will manage key accounts within an assigned territory and drive portfolio revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing plans. You will actively engage with authorized vacation planners and growth accounts, focusing on all domestic destination products. This is a Full-Time position reporting to the Regional Sales Director of Travel Agency Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Annual Business Results:
    • Conduct sales calls to agencies within your territory to maintain and grow relationships with clients currently selling our portfolio of products.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve annual operating plan targets.
    • Identify and develop new sales growth initiatives that are measurable and actionable, solving complex business issues.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:
    • Provide product knowledge to clients through product and technology trainings for our portfolio.
    • Conduct regional training or assist in the training of agents at events including Agent Education Programs, Familiarization trips (FAMs), ship tours, etc.
  • Budget Management and Reporting:
    • Manage program budget and be accountable for timely forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Promotional Opportunities and Communication:
    • Enhance all product and promotional opportunities through client tactics and communication.
Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least five years of proven Travel Industry experience, specifically in a sales business development role.
  • Consistent record of relationship building with C-Suite level contacts, front line, and operational leadership, as well as internal contacts.
  • Proven history of product training facilitation for both small and large groups (75+).
  • Proficiency in negotiating and implementing annual marketing plans, co-operative investments, and growth incentives.
  • Validated experience in driving revenue for key brand priorities/multiple brands.
  • Strong understanding of field level/remote selling.
  • Deep knowledge of the travel industry and key trends in the territory and marketplace.
  • Excellent relationship skills and the ability to be a credible business partner, both internally and externally.
  • Proven track record to manage and secure confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous field sales experience in travel or entertainment industry.
  • History of proven overachievement in roles/responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of all domestic travel products.
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as Tableau, SharePoint, and similar tools.
  • Existing relationships with travel agencies in the assigned territory.

Preferred Education

  • Certificate/Licenses: CTA or CTC desired.

  • Compensation: The hiring range for this position is \(97,100.00-\)130,200.00 per year, depending on geographic regions. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
