Job Title: Project Billing Analyst
Job Description
The Project Billing Analyst will be responsible for creating macros to help automate the billing team's processes. The main focus will be the automation, but they will also support the day-to-day billing functions such as reviewing project contract documentation to ensure accuracy of project setup while following client requirements, the Project Management & Quality Guidelines, and the Revenue Decision Making Matrix. This person will also be responsible for the accurate input of new and existing project information into the BST Project Accounting Software; preparing invoices using various software packages; interfacing with technical, administrative, and professional personnel; and analyzing information pertinent to client invoicing. The role involves compiling invoice packets to meet client requirements, which may include timesheet and expense documentation, DBE reporting, client-required forms, and Project Manager progress reports.
Hard Skills
- Create macros for automation purposes
- Billing experience within an engineering/architectural firm
- Experience with project managers to track deadlines
- Experience with VantagePoint or Deltek system
- Input new and revised project data into the BST Accounting System
- Processes subconsultant invoices through BST Accounting System
- Produces monthly Pre-bills & Final invoice packets
- Posts Final Invoices to Accounts Receivable
- Archives invoices and client contract documentation
- Analyzes and researches Work-in-Process and Project Analysis
- Performs Project Closeout Analysis
- Provides internal and external audit liaison assistance
Soft Skills
- Read, comprehend, and understand client contracts for compliance
- Review project set-up documents for accuracy
- Intermediate ability to produce monthly Pre-bills & Final invoice packets
- Intermediate ability to understand and perform Project Closeout Analysis
- Intermediate ability to provide internal and external audit liaison assistance

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
Industry: Construction, Architectural, Engineering. Corporate campus with a centralized billing department in the back of the parking lot. About 44 employees in the billing department. Flexible Schedule: After the training period, employees can start between 7am - 8:30am as long as they complete their required hours.
