Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior B2B Sales Executive with 5-10 years experience selling consulting services into the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships in a highly competitive market. This role is instrumental in expanding our market presence in the healthcare industry, focusing on acquiring new greenfield clients, and establishing Sand Cherry Associates as the go-to partner for top-tier consulting services in healthcare. This position is remote, however it will require occasional travel to meet with the leadership team in Denver, CO, as well as occasional travel to clients throughout the mountain, central and pacific time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a strong focus on acquiring new greenfield clients within the healthcare industry. Establish new clients within 3 months of hire and continue to acquire new clients each quarter thereafter.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and maintain a comprehensive lead list by identifying potential clients, researching key decision-makers, and employing strategic outreach methods. Continuously expand your network to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Sales Materials: Create and develop compelling sales materials, including presentations, proposals, and case studies, tailored to meet the needs of potential clients and effectively communicate the value of our consulting services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Strategic Selling: Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the unique needs and challenges of each client, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business objectives, and aligning our consulting services accordingly.
  • Consultative Approach: Utilize a consultative sales approach to diagnose client needs, present tailored solutions, and drive complex sales cycles from initial engagement to closing.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities to effectively position Sand Cherry’s services and drive competitive advantages.
  • Collaboration with Account Director: Work closely with the assigned Account Director to build a team of resources for each sales engagement. Ensure the collective team delivers high-quality output and fosters long-term relationship building with clients.
  • Partnership with Resourcing Team: Collaborate with the Resourcing team to align project delivery with client expectations and ensure the necessary resources are in place for successful engagement execution.
  • Revenue and Margin Goals: Ensure sales are structured to meet or exceed appropriate revenue and margin goals. Develop strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining high service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and forecasting, providing regular updates to the Managing Director and contributing to strategic planning.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years experience in B2B sales, specifically in selling consulting services in healthcare. Sales leadership experience is required. Proven success in driving revenue growth, managing large-scale, complex sales processes, and acquiring and closing new greenfield clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry including current trends, challenges, and best practices. Proven experience selling services or solutions to healthcare clients.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-level relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Lead Generation: Proven ability to independently generate and manage a robust lead list, employing various strategies and tools to identify and reach potential clients.
  • Sales Materials: Experience in creating and developing effective sales materials to support business development and enhance client engagement. Experience building pitch decks, contracts, and RFP responses is a must.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills to craft and implement effective sales strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Negotiation Skills: Advanced negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals and managing multi-faceted sales contracts.
  • Tools: Demonstrated ability to successfully utilize Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and any other tools or software needed.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

Compensation:

The compensation package will include a mix of salary, commission, and a range of additional financial and wellness benefits (eg.401k, health benefits, profit share and PTO). The performance-based incentives will align with sales targets and company goal achievements and may adjust annually. Base Salary range $80-150k plus commission, base range dependent on experience.
