Our partners, alongside Oak, have been working hard to put the best curriculum thinking, deepest subject expertise and smartest learning design at the fingertips of teachers, and we now need your help.

We welcome applications from anyone who meets our criteria, but are particularly keen to receive applications from people with a D&T: Cooking and Nutrition background.

Scope

  • Review the subject and pedagogical elements of full curriculum packages (lessons, quizzes, etc), for Primary and Secondary, ensuring alignment to Oak’s approach.
  • Review the technical (spelling and grammar, Oak style guide, etc) elements where requested.
  • Keep the relevant Subject Leads and Quality Assurance Manager up-to-date with changes required, and work towards actioning those changes.
  • Work closely with Subject Lead and other Oak colleagues, to ensure consistency of approach, and that both compliance and quality are in place throughout.
  • Work towards tight deadlines to ensure the production and release of digital education content in line with Oak timelines.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Teaching qualification, and 3+ years of post-qualification direct experience of teaching primary/secondary in your subject. Secondary is preferred due to volume of lesson production.
  • Previous quality assurance experience, with an ability to review content at pace and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, able to efficiently review and spot errors in content.
  • Have a high standard of English, including punctuation and grammar, in written and verbal communication.
  • Competent working with and adapting to a variety of technologies - Oak is a tech-driven organisation, primarily using Google workspaces.
