Job Description

As the Technical Reviewer II, you have a strong understanding of the requirements and processes for your assigned program area, with expertise in daily operations end-to-end. The Technical Reviewer II delivers excellent customer service over assigned scheme area/s. This individual has a strong attention to detail, excellent time management and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Performs technical reviews for the assigned certification scheme program/s according to NSF and ANSI accreditation body requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining certification scheme SOPs and applying certification scheme requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant KPIs.
  • Works directly with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of scheme services and provides superior customer service.
  • Support in training of new team members on review procedures.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements and volunteers to support those.
  • Complies with and enforces all corporate and accreditation requirements, with a high level of integrity.
  • Support the achievement of new accreditations and program initiatives within given timelines.
  • Support the creation or training and marketing support materials.
  • Support corporate change initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental health, public health, science or related field.
  • Other degrees accepted with commensurate additional experience beyond the minimum
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a scientific, health science, public health or related industry. Dietary supplement, cosmetic or OTC industry experience a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Dietary supplements, Labeling or manufacturing.
  • Functional food energy drinks, protein bar, protein powders
  • Preferred experience in Label regulations or formulation experience

Salary Range: $64,000 - $83,000

The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
