Description
The Medical Records Indexer will be responsible for pre-indexing medical records within OnBase and Epic.
- Review medical records and perform pre-indexing responsibilities involving heavy data entry in OnBase.
- Use high attention to detail to input correct patient demographic information and document dates in OnBase.
- Index documents to the correct patient encounters and/or patient charts in Epic.
- Work independently and meet daily quality metrics related to speed and accuracy.
- Exercise a willingness to learn and dedicated work ethic.

Required Qualifications
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 2+ years of applicable medical records indexing experience.
- Must obtain a general working knowledge of Epic.
- Must obtain a general working knowledge of OnBase.
- Prior experience being held to and meeting quality metrics.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking required.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer.
